CMS Steel Pro is looking for experienced Welders to join our company. We're hiring for both our Field Services Team based out of Pictou, and the Manpower Crew at Irving's Halifax Shipyard.
Must Have
- Current 4 Position SMAW (F/H/V/O)
- Current 4 Position FCAW (F/H/V/O)
- Be able to complete fingerprint/criminal record check for Controlled Goods Program and Government Security Clearance. (Contingent on hiring).
- Be proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings.
Nice to have
- Red Seal Preferred
- 3-5 years experience
- CWB Stainless Steel
- CWB W47.2 Aluminum Welding Ticket
- Department of Labour Pressure Plate/Pipe
Responsibilities
- Welding/grinding
- Machine equipment set-up.
- Knowledge of welding parameters and able to follow welding procedures.
- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team with tasks and duties beyond welding.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Occasional weekend/evening work.

What We Offer
$36 for Red Seal with 4 pos. SMAW/FCAW
$38/hr for Red Seal with 4 pos. SMAW/FCAW + CuNi, Stainless and Pipe
Trade incentives for travel outside of Pictou County.
Job specific rates/applications apply.
