CMS Steel Pro is looking for an experienced Millwright to join our company. We're hiring for our Field Services Team based out of Pictou.
Must Have
- Red Seal Millwright (Current)
- Be able to complete fingerprint/criminal record check for Controlled Goods Program and Government Security Clearance. (Contingent on hiring).
Responsibilities
- Layout, planning & execution of work.
- Valve rebuilds (gate).
- Teardown and rebuild: pumps, engines, shafts, bearings, etc.
- Set & balance motors and shafts.
- Identify & repair problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs or installing new parts.
- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team with tasks and duties beyond your trade.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Occasional weekend/evening work.
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years experience
- Be proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings.
- Rigging experience.

What We Offer
$36/hour
Certification must be valid at time of hiring.
Trade incentives for travel outside of Pictou County.
