CMS Steel Pro is looking for experienced Metal Fabricators to join our company. We're hiring for both our Field Services Team based out of Pictou, and the Manpower Crew at Irving's Halifax Shipyard.
Must Have
- Red Seal Metal Fabricator (Current)
- Be able to complete fingerprint/criminal record check for Controlled Goods Program and Government Security Clearance. (Contingent on hiring).
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years experience
- Be proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings.
- Rigging experience.
Responsibilities
- Layout, planning & execution of work.
- Cutting: zip cut and torch.
- Proficient in grinding and corner radiusing.
- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team with tasks and duties beyond your trade.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Occasional weekend/evening work.

What We Offer
$36 for Red Seal
Certification must be valid at time of hiring.
Trade incentives for travel outside of Pictou County.
