Must Have
- Valid Driver's License
- Related experience preferred
- Forklift operation (training can be provided)
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all receiving, storage and shipping of equipment and supplies
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping
- Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer and all aspects of shipping materials
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas while maintaining internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Effectively communicate with other staff to ensure clarity of receiving and delivery schedules, quality requirements and other critical aspects
